Sperry Health Assessments – Over a Decade of Experience
About Us
Sperry Health Assessments is named for Lieutenant John C., our founder, and a Navy veteran who served on the USS Sperry.
The USS Sperry (AS-12) was a submarine tender in the U.S. Navy, primarily serving during and after World War II. The ship was named after Rear Admiral Charles Tillman Sperry, a notable U.S. Navy officer and a pioneer in submarine development.
Much like Sperry Health Assessments, who perform critical back operations for our veterans, the USS Sperry was designed to provide maintenance, repair, and logistical support to submarines, especially in forward-operating areas. As a submarine tender, it would essentially serve as a “floating base” for submarines, enabling them to stay operational without needing to return to port for extensive repairs or resupply.
